Ahh, moments.  In a world full of snapshots and snapchats, I think a great moment captured well means all that much more.  It’s not that I don’t love camera phones and all the things that come with it.  I use mine every day.  The convenience is staggering compared to a point and shoot or the full professional rigs we bring to our weddings.  It’s just that when it comes to an image that really brings you back to a point in time, fully and without any need to think, there’s no substitute for being there, being ready, and having the right gear.

So, with Kate, Davis, and the desire (as always) to find those perfect moments it was all a little too easy.  You see, I’ve known these two for a while now.  Of course it was an honor to be asked to shoot their wedding, but more than that I knew their personalities would make for some great stuff and quite a bit of it.  Check it.  You’ll see.

Enjoy.
