We posted a sneak-peek way back in the winter, but since Emily and Nick with their beautiful St. Bridget’s and VCA wedding have found a home on the Perfect Bound wedding blog (click on the link, silly) it’s time to post even more of our favorites.  Thank you to all our vendor friends and the Butler and Perry families for an exceptional occasion.  Enjoy!

Thank you to Jane and Andrew for enjoying with me what turned out to be  an amazing February day.  Yes, I miss all the beautiful white snow that we had last year, but you can’t argue with being able to run around Belle Isle for an engagement shoot at a time when we should be huddled indoors by a fire.  With their dog, Duke, we made the most of the temps and all the variety that the historic river island has to offer.  As a little bonus, we headed over to the the University of Richmond for a little more fun at the International Center.  Enjoy!

Check out Shannon, Matt and their Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens wedding from this past summer.  A very funny couple, we’ve had the pleasure of getting to know them throughout their planning process.  We knew, given their personalities, that there would be no shortage of hilarious moments.  We topped the evening off with a quick trip to the after party at Lemaire.  Normally, we don’t recommend photographs past a certain point in the evening but something told me we’d be OK and, sure enough, it resulted in one of my favorite party portraits.

And, of course, thank you to the staff at Lewis Ginter and CCS Events for another delightful wedding.  Enjoy!

Here’s a little fun from this past fall, featuring Mallory and Matt, a host of fun family and friends, and two great Richmond venues.  We started the day at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart which always makes for a beautiful ceremony.  Then it was off to The Omni Downtown Richmond where the personalities of these two great families really started to shine.  And, as if the evening wasn’t “Richmond” enough, there was a raucous appearance by the Hokie Bird, who stayed and danced with the crowd for quite some time.  We were a little bummed to see such a great party end, but it was a thrill to be a part of it regardless.  Enjoy the warm winter weather and we’ll be posting so much more from this past season through the next few weeks!
