From the very beginning of our career as wedding photographers, Lindsay and I knew the value of the moment. From subtle expressions to grand gestures, and weddings provide so many of each, we felt like our responsibility was to make sure those "times of excellence" wouldn't be lost.
Being known for capturing the best moments, as photographers, brings many titles and descriptions. Candid. Photojournalistic. Creative. Natural. Emotional. These are great words and they certainly apply, but they don't really express our whole style. We've always felt that great photography should defy the buzzwords of the day and simply make you stop and stare. Fads and trends fade. We want to create something you'll love as much 50 years from now as you do today.
The advice we give to anyone who's considering us as their photographers is to get familiar with our work. Look through our website. Spend some time with our blog. If you see yourself, your wedding, your moments, in our work then we feel that that's the best reason for making us a part of your wedding plans.
But weddings aren't just about photographs to us. It's also about people. The relationships we form and the experience we provide are just as important as the images we deliver. We love what we do and have fun doing it, so keeping it simple just comes naturally to us. We want to be the easiest decision you make for your wedding plans, so you can relax and simply enjoy your wedding day.
